Jon Stewart will discuss his directorial debut Rosewater with fellow comedy talk-show host Stephen Colbert in a Q&A that Open Road and Fathom Events will broadcast live in theaters. The event will screen with the film on Nov. 13, one night before the film’s theatrical release. Rosewater is the true story of Iranian-born Canadian journalist Maziar Bahari , played by Gael García Bernal , who was imprisoned when he returned to Iran in 2009 to interview a candidate challenging president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad . Stewart covered the story on The Daily Show and interviewed the journalist after his release.
