Gail Berman’s The Jackal Group is developing a feature film based on the case of convicted spy Jonathan Pollard.
Attorneys for the former U.S. intelligence analyst announced Tuesday that Pollard will be paroled in November after spending nearly three decades in prison for passing top secret information to the Israeli government.
The project is based on Martin Blanks’ stage play “The Law of Return,” which details why Pollard became a spy. Variety reported in February that Berman had signed a first-look deal with Fox 2000.
