Sales agency Submarine said on Friday that Julia Roberts is attached to produce and star in a movie based on the real-life Batkid story. The film is set to be a remake of the documentary, “Batkid Begins: The Wish Heard Around the World,” which is set to premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival on Jan. 24th. The documentary recounts the real-life events that occurred when the city of San Francisco partnered with the Make-a-Wish foundation to grant Miles Scott, a five-year-old with leukemia, the chance to be Batkid.
