Universal Pictures suspenseful dinosaur spectacle is set to become the fastest film to gross $1 billion in box office receipts worldwide on Monday.
Jurassic World, grossed just over $200 million it’s first weekend which started on June 12.
Since then the film has doubled it’s North American gross income over 10 days.
The studio expects the movie to hit the milestone Monday June 22, just 13 days after its release.
The previous record was set by Universal’s “Furious 7” car-filled action film, which topped $1 billion globally in 17 days after its April release this year.
