Years before they became an Emmy-winning late-night host and global music superstar, Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake were just two dorky pre-teens sharing a room at summer camp. Or at least that’s the hilarious premise for the “Camp Winnipesaukee” sketch from Tuesday night’s Tonight Show, in which the two roomies play an awkward game of Truth or Dare, sing a glorious duet of Third Eye Blind’s angst-filled 1997 classic “Jumper” and annoy their counselor, Mr. Fletcher (played by head writer A.D. Miles). “Hey Justin, are you asleep?” a braces-sporting Fallon asks to open the piece, holding a flashlight and speaking in a nasally voice similar to his popular “Ew!” character. The two discuss their developing body hair (or lack thereof), and Timberlake reveals that his secret crush is “Kimmy Gibbler from Full House.” The boys then unleash their harmony-filled version of “Jumper,” which leads to Mr. Fletcher interrupting their bedtime “hubbub” and revoking their Snack Shack privileges.
