We know of at least one person who had no trouble copping a pair of the new Yeezy 750 Boost by Adidas and Kanye West: comedian Dave Chappelle. According to a Kim Kardashian Instagram post that popped up late Saturday night, Kanye gave the beloved comic the Yeezys right off his own feet. West and Chappelle of course have a long history together, which goes back at least as far as Chappelle’s Block Party concert movie and as recently as last summer when Kanye popped up for a surprise performance during Chappelle’s Radio City Music Hall stand-up show.
If you want a pair of the new Yeezys, it’s going to be considerably more difficult. Unless maybe you also happen to be personal friends with Kanye West, or you’ve got $5,000 just laying around to spend on eBay.
