Mr. West was in the building—kinda. E! News reports that during the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night, fans found themselves struggling to enjoy
Kanye West’s live performance because it seemed like the entire thing was censored. And as you might expect, Yeezy was NOT happy about it.
The star’s rep says West’s performance was “grossly over-censored.” Apparently, non-profane lyrics such as ‘with my leather black jeans on’ were muted for over 30 second intervals. That, combined with so much stage smoke that it made it difficult to see Kanye himself, made it a less-than-wonderful viewing experience for those watching from home. On the other hand, those inside MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas got to experience the full ‘Ye glory as he intended.
