Warning: if you’re not a fan of Kanye West, he will probably call you out on Twitter. And then suggest drinks at what will probably become Taylor Swift’s new regular hang. Days after New York fashion Week creator Fern Mallis publicly declared that she’s not a Yeezy fan, the rapper has taken to social media in a series of tweets. (You can almost hear his blood boil in these messages). “To Fern Mallis: I just want you to understand that attempting to do clothing has been very difficult and I have encountered countless amounts of bigotry along the way. I have millions of ideas and I represent a new generation just trying to express themselves in a broken world.” It all started when Mallis, who served as Executive Director at the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) for a decade, commented on the production of getting West into a Jeremy Scott show on Wednesday. (They were both attendees). “I’m kind of over Kanye,” the 68-year-old Mallis told the New York Post. “I mean, I’m not a fan of his music, and the attitude and the agenda is not my style.” That’s it. That’s all she said, folks. Who knows if she’s even listening to any music, period? West saved the best tweet for last: “If you wanna have a drink with me, book a table at the spotted pig when I’m back in New York.”
