Kasabian made up for their Brits snub by picking up three gongs at the NME Awards. The rockers, who did not get a single Brits nomination, were hailed as the best British band at the event at Brixton Academy in London. The event, formally known as the NME Awards 2015 with Austin, Texas, were hosted by Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, and also featured a greatest hits set by Suede after they picked up their godlike genius award.
