Kate Middleton traced her roots during her latest royal visit. The 32-year-old toured Bletchley Park Wednesday, where her grandmother worked during World War II. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a blouse and skirt from Alexander McQueen’s 2011 Pre-Fall collection. Upon her arrival, Middleton met Lady Marion Body, who worked with her late paternal grandmother Valerie Glassborow during the war. Glassborow was a civilian member of staff and worked in Hut 16. Her grandmother’s workspace, now named Hut 6, was part of a restoration project at the “spy school.” During her visit, Middleton met with the restoration staff. She also pretended to decipher a Morse code message using a replica radio, similar to the ones that were used during the war. Later on, Middleton planted a tree to commemorate her visit and to celebrate the completed $13.6 million renovations.
