Get excited, people, as E! has learned the beloved Dawson’s Creek star is set to make her TV return when she takes on a major season-long role in Ray Donovan’s upcoming third season. And yes, this means that Joey and Pacey are back on the same network as Joshua Jackson stars on Showtime’s Golden Globe-winning freshman drama The Affair. Holmes is set to take on the role of the shrewd and chic businesswoman Paige, who has a major connection to season three’s other huge guest star: Deadwood’s Ian McShane! Paige is the daughter of Andrew Finney, played by McShane, a prominent movie producer who turns to Liev Schreiber’s Ray for help to get his family out of a sticky situation.
