Entertainment One has acquired U.S. and Canada distribution rights for the dark comedy Miss Meadows, starring Katie Holmes. The film, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, stars Holmes as a prim, tap-dancing schoolteacher in a small town who moonlights as a vigilante killing criminals. Her work gets complicated when she becomes romantically involved with the town sheriff (James Badge Dale). Entertainment One is planning on releasing it in fall 2014.
