Katie Holmes is making the move into the director’s chair with the adaptation of the book All We Had , which she optioned in July. Holmes will also star in her directorial debut, which centers on a mother (Holmes) and her 13-year-old daughter, who live together on the edge of poverty. Jane Rosenthal (Little Fockers ) has signed on to produce the project, and The Fault in Our Stars director Josh Boone will pen the script. All We Had , which is Annie Weatherwax ‘s debut novel, hit shelves in August.
