If there’s one superstar pumped about TLC’s upcoming tour with New Kids On The Block and Nelly, it has to be Katy Perry. Just one day after the musical groups announced the Main Event Tour, the “Roar” singer pledged $5,000 to Kickstarter in hopes that TLC will create a new album in the year ahead. As it turns out, fans of the “Waterfalls” group have already raised more than $122,000. The group hopes to raise an additional $28,000 by Feb. 19. Lucky for Perry, she may not have to wait too long to hear the sweet sounds of TLC. After all, the group’s tour kicks off May 1 in fabulous Las Vegas.
