According to a company release, the rapper’s new album To Pimp A Butterfly was streamed more than 9.6 million times during its first day on Spotify. Continuing a recent trend of surprise albums, To Pimp A Butterfly arrived a week ahead of schedule, much to the surprise and delight of Kendrick’s fans, including Taylor Swift.
