Kevin Jonas, 27, the eldest former member of the Jonas Brothers trio, recently offered his take on the British singer’s departure in March from boy band One Direction. Kevin’s group, also made up of brothers Joe Jonas, 25, and Nick Jonas, 22, broke up in October 2013 after performing together for seven years, and just after cancelling a tour. “I get it completely and I also understand that in the midst of that intensity, like, he should go dark for a long time,” the singer explained, “You gotta go dark for at least like, six weeks, like, underground,” Kevin told Duran. “You gotta go hard. Like, you’re done….Because you gotta let it settle, you gotta let the dust clear because anything you do then will be scrutinized.”
