The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Kevin Spacey has signed a deal as the lead in Nine Lives, a comedy from EuropaCorp. The film is set to be helmed by Men in Black director Barry Sonnenfeld from a script by Daniel Antoniazzi and Ben Shiffrin. The deal arrives days after Spacey’s Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globes honors for his dramatic turn in Netflix’s House of Cards. The actor is currently shooting Elvis & Nixon, in which he will portray President Richard Nixon. He is repped by CAA and Joanne Horowitz Management.
