“Habibi Love” is the phrase of the day to enflame angry folk on the internet. Or for Khloe Kardashian, it’s just another day.
Nevertheless this time, the Kardashian sister is coming under fire for wearing a niqab–or Muslim veil– in a selfie posted to Instagram.
Commenters immediately pounced on the image, calling Khloé out for cultural appropriation. This isn’t the first time Khloe and Islam met in conflict, back on an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloé apologized for her screw-up after speaking with two Muslim employees at the Kardashian family’s DASH boutique.
Tuesday’s Instagram post suggests that Khloe just might have missed a few classes on Islamic culture.
