After working with Lady Gaga on Machete Kills, director Robert Rodriguez knew she would have to be his new Sin City sequel. Rodriguez said at the Hollywood premier, “I told her she had to be in it. But we needed to find a role small enough that she could do while she was on tour. And then this one popped up.” He’s referring to Gaga’s role as a waitress in Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For (in theaters Friday). Rodriguez is certain Gaga could have a long acting career if she wants it saying, “She would be fantastic. The camera loves her. She’s a great performer. She’s performed twice for me now and I was blown away by her discipline. She studied acting before she became a singer and you could really tell.”
