Lamar Odom is understandably still reeling from the loss of his longtime friend, Jamie Sangouthai. E! News has exclusively learned that while the two “haven’t spoken for a year,” the former basketball star is “very shaken up.” Sangouthai’s death comes as a “huge shock” to Odom, who had known the late 37-year-old since they were just kids. An insider close to Khloé Kardashian’s ex told E!, “It’s very scary when someone you know so well dies suddenly. It’s been a wake-up call for Lamar as he realizes that he could personally be in a very different place if he was still as close to Jamie.” According to sources, the former Lakers star is currently coping with the news of his friend’s death surrounded by friends in Las Vegas.
