Just over a year since the release of her most recent album Ultraviolence, Lana Del Rey has released a new single, “Honeymoon,” her first song off her upcoming LP of the same name. The lyric video begins with the song’s overture soundtracking a grainy, Seventies-style home video of Del Rey lounging in the grass near a highway. The lyrics are then displayed on a pink background accented by flowers. The singer confirmed her third album in January, revealing the title and progress to Billboard. In the interview, Del Rey said, “It’s very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise. It’s growing into something I really like. I’m kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It’s been good.”
