Three time Oscar nominee Laura Linney is joining the cast of Paramount Pictures Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel. Details on Linney’s character are being kept under wraps for now.
Linney will join returning cast members Megan Fox and Will Arnett, and fellow newcomers Stephen Amell and Tyler Perry.
Linney’s past work includes mostly period pieces and dramas, including Hyde Park on the Hudson and The Fifth Estate. The original report from The Hollywood Reporter suggests that Linney is looking to participate in some films aimed at younger audiences now that she’s a mother.
