Laverne Cox and Caitlyn Jenner “finally” had their first in-person meeting, thanks to an advanced screening of I Am Cait.
The Orange Is the New Black star shared photos with Jenner during a preview of the E! docuseries, which was also attended by fellow transgender activists Candis Cayne, Trace Lysette, Jen Richards and Zackary Drucker.Cox previously praised Jenner in a blog post after her Vanity Fair reveal. Jenner responded on Twitter with the Cox-created hashtag, #TransIsBeautiful. “Your support means the world. Thank you for all that you do for the community.”
