Led Zeppelin will close out their mammoth reissue project July 31st with three albums. . All three will be accompanied by a companion disc highlighting alternate versions or rough mixes of the respective LP’s tracks. A stripped-down take on the track “In The Light” from the band’s “In through the Out Door” album premiered at Yahoo! Music.
On “In the Evening,” the song’s trumpeting synths announced Zeppelin was exploring bold new territory with their eighth studio album, but they are notably toned down in the rough mix. The In Through the Out Door mix will contain rough mixes of each of the album’s seven tracks. Presence will similarly feature five reference mixes of that album’s tracks, including the previously unveiled “Hots on for Nowhere” demo.
