Can’t get enough Lifetime original movies? There’s now an especially niche streaming service just for you.
A+E Networks announced Thursday that it’s getting into the over-the-top subscription business with its own direct-to-consumer service, Lifetime Movie Club. The player, which runs $3.99 a month, will be exclusively available on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch at launch.
The app will feature a rotating roster of more than 30 movies, with new titles circulating in weekly, and include playlists such as “Ripped From the Headlines” and “Dramatic Affairs.”
Titles that will be available include Flowers in the Attic, Coco Chanel and, the modern telecpic classic, Too Young to Marry.
