A reality show about competing fangirl couture designers has been tapped by Lionsgate and Comic-Con as the first original series for Comic-Con International, the fanboy streamer to launch next year.
Her Universe is based on Ashley Eckstein’s Her Universe Fashion Show, a design competition and runway showcase at the San Diego comic book convention that had its second outing Thursday evening. The reality series will follow contestants as they design geek fashion beyond baggy pants and big glasses to be modeled in competition.
