CBS medical drama Code Black has found its top doc. The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Lost alum Maggie Grace is set to topline the drama pilot based on the feature documentary directed by Ryan McGarry. Code Black is a medical drama set in the busiest and most notorious ER in the nation where the extraordinary staff confronts a broken system in order to protect their ideals and the patients who need them the most. Grace will star as Leanne, the residency doctor in the ER who is described as a force of nature and a force to be reckoned with. She joins a cast that also includes How to Get Away With Murder’s Marcia Gay Harden as a soccer mom-turned-doc after her child’s death; and Melanie Kannakoda as a new and ambitious resident at the hospital.
