The Walt Disney Corporation considers Amy Schumer’s Star Wars inspired GQ cover and photo shoot to be a trainwreck.
The company which purchased Lucasfilm in 2012, posted a tweet Thursday afternoon stating their disapproval of the content.
Published on the official Star Wars Twitter account, Disney and Lucasfilm expressed they played no part in the shoot.
The tweet added the suggestive photo shoot used their characters in an inappropriate manner.
In the shoot, the comedian and Trainwreck star is seen portraying Princess Leia in her bikini from Return of the Jedi.
During the shoot Schumer strikes sexually suggestive poses with C-3PO, R2-D2, and a lightsaber.
The cover shoot became an online sensation since it debuted earlier this week.
