Going to fabulous award shows and star-studded parties may appear to be glamorous. And while Lupita Nyong’o certainly knows being a celebrity has its perks, she also realizes fame has some negatives. “The not-so-fun part of all this is that when I don’t feel like being famous, I still am,” she admitted in the March issue of Lucky available Feb. 17. “When you’re in the middle of Manhattan and you have to pop into Starbucks to use the restroom and everyone recognizes you when you’re waiting in line, it’s awkward.”
Oh, we totally feel ya, girl. And it also must be tough going from an ordinary person into an Oscar-nominated actress in a matter of months.
