Here’s the latest on the 67th annual Primetime Emmy nominations announced Thursday in West Hollywood, California, by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. This year’s Emmy Awards have the chance to anoint new record-holders for comedy and drama series with the most wins. “Modern Family” and “Mad Men” each received best series nominations Thursday in their respective categories. If it wins in September, “Modern Family” would have the most Emmy wins for a comedy series, overtaking “Frasier.”
If “Mad Men” wins, it would become most-honored dramatic series, surpassing “Hill Street Blues,” ”L.A. Law” and “The West Wing,” which all won four times.
