The sad thing about Madonna is that she tries, she really does, she tries to be cool and relevant and all that, but she just fails so hard. Instead of coming across how she wants, she seems just so very desperate and sad and, at times, genuinely awful. This is one of those awful times.
In case you missed it, Madonna recently had some music of hers leaked, as well as some old photos that were never published. She’s been going on about it for a little bit now, because she’s understandably upset about the leak, but yesterday she posted this message, which is simply inexcusable:
“This is artistic rape!! These are early leaked demo’s half of which wont even make it on my album the other half have changed and evolved. This is a form of terrorism. Why do people want to destroy artistic process??? Why steal? Why not give me the opportunity to finish and give you my very best?”
She’s since deleted the post, probably because she realized how absolutely ridiculous and offensive it was.
