Mariah Carey is making her directorial debut on the Hallmark Channel. The network announced Wednesday that Carey will direct and co-star in “Mariah Carey’s Christmas Project.” Production will begin in the fall. The announcement comes at a busy time for the singer. She recently launched a residency in Las Vegas where she performs her No. 1 hits, including “Vision of Love,” ”Hero” and “We Belong Together.”
