Mariah Carey brushed off an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she kicked off her Las Vegas residency on Wednesday night. The singer debuted her Mariah #1 to Infinity show at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace and ran through all 18 of her chart-topping hits in chronological order, including “Hero,” “Dreamlover” and “We Belong Together.” She kicked off with her first number one, the 1990 single “Vision of Love,” arriving onstage in a glittering gown on a moving platform between two giant butterflies. Carey changed costume seven times throughout the two-hour set and suffered a minor wardrobe malfunction when the back of a revealing jeweled minidress came undone. Carey continued to talk to the audience as two members of staff ran onstage to secure the dress.
