Maroon 5’s catchy “Maps” hit, stamped with Adam Levine’s indelible falsetto and brooding lyrics, just got a mesmerizing remix. The band and its label hired Slaptop, an electronic dance music producer to revamp “Maps,” which is No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 after nine weeks shifting around in the top 15. The remix will appear on the Walmart version of Maroon 5’s V album. Maroon 5 recently performed “Maps” at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
