In October 2014, Marvel Studios announced plans for their next several years of films. Then Marvel finally struck a deal with Sony to get Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and altered the schedule to make room for a new Spider-Man solo film. You might think that the deal sent Marvel into a tailspin as they tried to reorganize their plans to account for the Spidey’s presence.
