For those waiting for a follow-up to the post-credits sequence to last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy, you won’t have to hang on much longer — Marvel Entertainment has revealed that the second issue of the new Howard the Duck series will feature the story of how the character ended up in the clutches of the Collector.
The official solicitation text for the issue, to be released in April, explains that “Howard’s first big case has taken him across the universe and landed him in the clutches of The Collector! But he’s not alone as the very popular Rocket Raccoon is a prisoner as well! Have you ever seen a comic book sequel to a post-credits scene in a movie? Well, you will now!”
The issue, written by Chip Zdarsky with artwork from Joe Quinones, also features a cover that teams the irascible duck with Rocket and the other Guardians, all taking a selfie with Gamora, Star Lord and Groot all making — of course! — duck face.
