Warner Bros. released a sneak peek from Magic Mike XXL Thursday, which shows Matt Bomer’s character serenading a group of Southern women who hired the male strippers for a night of naughty fun.
One of the women is married to a man who’s never made love to her with the lights on. To cheer her up, he serenades her by singing Bryan Adams’ power ballad “Heaven.”
The song choice wasn’t completely random, of course. According to the woman, she and her husband listened to the song when they “were falling in love” in college. Luckily, Bomer says, “I love that song!”
