Max Greenfield is checking into Ryan Murphy’s FX show American Horror Story: Hotel, the fifth season of the hit series that also stars fellow newcomer Lady Gaga. The 34-year-old actor is best known for his role as Schmidt in the FOX sitcom New Girl and also starred in the network’s comedy series The Mindy Project, which is moving to Hulu next season. 49 year-old Murphy announced his casting for American Horror Story: Hotel on Monday, Memorial Day. The executive producer tweeted, “This October, Max Greenfield is checking in to the hotel….but not checking out. #AHSHotel.” “Thank you @MrRPMurphy …..It’s ON! #AHSHotel,” Greenfield replied.
