Disney has released a new Into the Woods poster and a very creepy Meryl Streep is front and center as “The Witch.” Streep has always been amazing at every role she takes on, so it’s not surprising that when she plays a scary fairytale witch, she really embodies a scary fairytale witch, something the film’s trailer shows off in spades. The movie is adapted from the Stephen Sondheim Broadway musical and is directed by Oscar nominee Rob Marshall. The film blends multiple Brothers Grimm fairytales with a modern twist, and in addition to Streep boasts stars like Emily Blunt, Chris Pine, Anna Kendrick and Johnny Depp.
