Metallica brought metal thunder to the X Games with their June 6th performance in Austin, Texas.
One of the forefathers of Metal still proved that they had the metal spirit as frontman James Hetfield growled out the lyrics while improvising riffs all in between. This, of course is not to discount the original members Lars Ulrich pummeling the drum set and Kirk Hammett soaring with solos.
It was no doubt just another gig for Metallica but nevertheless a most memorable one for all.
