Paramount announced Tuesday, that director Michael Bay’s geopolitical drama has an expanded title, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, and an official release date of Jan. 15, 2016. The project, previously titled 13 hours, is based on Mitchell Zuckoff’s book about the 2012 attack on an American compound in Libya that left U.S. ambassador J. Christopher Stevens dead. The story centers on the special-forces team that attempted to rescue Stevens.
