” American Idol ” finalist Michael Johns died Friday at the age of 35. The singer’s death is reportedly believed from a blood clot in his ankle. The singer placed 8th in Season 7 and following his exit from the show he continued to record music. He recorded an album — ” Hold Back My Heart ” in 2009. Johns was married to Stacey Vuduris. A rep for the singer’s fan site tweeted, “It is with a heavy heart and inconsolable sadness that we confirm the passing of our friend Michael Johns.”
