Deceased parrots are likely to play a major role when Michael Palin takes to the stage at an upcoming BAFTA event in London that was announced Tuesday. The BAFTA-winning Monty Python star will be the subject of the second BAFTA ״A Life in Television״ celebration, looking back at a career that began in the 1960s as a writer for David Frost’s The Frost Report, moved on to the now-legendary Monty Python’s Flying Circus and later led him to host of travel documentaries for the BBC.
