The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed Michelle Collins is the latest co-host to join The View.
The comedian has been a frequent guest host on the ABC daytime show and has been rumored as a potential addition to the show’s panel.
The View was expected to make an announcement of some sort on Wednesday’s show. The episode featured co-host Rosie Perez tearing up as she talked about her decision to leave the show after just one season. Still, Perez seemed to hint that Collins wasn’t just a guest during her farewell, as she hugged both Collins and new co-host Raven-Symone and said “welcome” to both of them.
