While performing her smash hit single “Over You,” Mrs. Blake Shelton noticed a sweet young girl in the crowd named Brooke Hester.
Wearing a pink cowgirl hat and a mask to prevent germs from reaching her, the 7-year-old cancer patient grabbed the singer’s hand for a tender, unannounced moment.
Turns out, the quick interaction deeply moved Lambert, who had to stop singing as tears began streaming down her face. Luckily, the crowd was able to sing loud and proud for the remainder of the song.
