Disney’s animated hit Frozen was released in theaters almost a year ago, but the phenomenon is still hot when it comes to sales of merchandise tie-ins. More than three million role-play dresses designed to look like those worn by the film’s main characters of Elsa and Anna have been sold in the U.S. alone in less than a year. Frozen costumes were a top choice for Halloween and toys inspired by the movie are some of the hottest items of the holiday season.
