The BBC subtitling team didn’t have a very easy time of it during Kanye West’s headline performance at Glastonbury Saturday night.
Not only did they have to cope with some fairly fast rapping, but they also had to find creative ways to deal with the more explicit language. Many people on social media had a field day with the unique subtitles, including David White, who tweeted “No, BBC subtitles, I don’t think Kanye West is singing “shut the lock up” lol. #Glastonbury”
