Heavy metal superstars Motley Crue will descend on the UK for a final time this year, with London among their dates, armed with a 200ft rollercoaster and the promise of their “largest production” so far. Hanging up their leathers after 34 years, the band will be appearing across Europe as part of a farewell tour – stopping at Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham and London in November. Their shows will feature a “ginormous” rollercoaster fitted around each stadium, a section of the audience which will be lifted into the air, and so many pyrotechnics that the fourpiece will have to wear protective clothing. The band announced the new dates at a press conference with fellow rockstar Alice Cooper, who will be joining them for part of the tour.
