Many viewers of Dancing With the Stars were upset last night o see Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough ousted from the ABC reality hit in the semi-finals.
Monday night’s show saw a recovering Derek returning to fully dance in a routine choreographed by head judge Len Goodman, Nastia tells E! News, “That was the best way I could’ve got to end this experience.”
DWTS dancer Sasha Farber stepped in to perform with Nastia for the last two weeks after Derek suffered an injury, and the gold medalist was happy to dance with Derek again before her time on the show ended.
She said, “For me to be able to dance with Derek one last time was really special,” She added, “and I thought no matter what happens today, I’m so thankful for this incredible journey and to share it with Derek.”
