E! News can confirm that NBC has canceled the fan-favorite show Hannibal.
The show is based on the character Hannibal Lecter from the film Silence of the Lambs and it’s subsequent sequels.
Bryan Fuller, the series creator, said, “Hannibal is finishing his last course at NBC’s table this summer, but a hungry cannibal can always dine again.”
Tweets from De Laurentiis Company has stated the show will be shopped around to other networks.
